Elephant Mountain Battery heads to Chitral

The making of....

These are Schliech Elephants. I used paper towels for texture for the Elephant blankets; balsa wood for the cannon "cradles" with tooth picks to join them; thin chording for teh ropes; small chain; I used inexpensive BMC cannon dissaembled. The Indian troops are Armies In Plastic figures. The British mounted figures are HAT dragoons with heads replaced with plastic British Colonial heads from Call to Arms and tehy are mounted on BMC horses and HAT horses; The British dismounted artillerists are Accurate American Civil War figures with Call to Arms British Colonial heads. I figured that I better tell y'all how I did these before I get a 100 emails about it. Have fun creating your units...it was very difficult actually.
