Medieval Seigecraft

 This section consists of 54mm scale dioramas depicting a beseiged castle. The basic Imex "Blackstone" castle has been painted and the fortifications have been enhanced by scratch built towers, half-timber buildings including a stable, and a keep. Seige weapons were scratch built, except for spear ballistas made by Britains. The 600 figures are from a wide variety of manufacturers all hand painted by J. Carvalho. All figures which were factory painted were overpainted in more accurate colors as well. There are also a large number of conversions of figures (recasts were used for this purpose).
